Description
The church was designed by architect Thomas Henry Wyatt, who hailed from Ireland.
Christ Church was enlarged in 1905, when a south aisle was added. The chancel dates from 1926.
In the churchyard is the grave of Arthur Rowland Jones, who was First Officer on the liner Lusitania when it was torpedoed off Ireland by a German submarine in 1917.

Marvelous as always, Ian! Great point of view too, looking slightly upward from a low vantage point, thereby increasing the impact and dominance of the church building. F/V
