Greyhounds were originally bred as hunting dogs to chase hare, foxes, and deer.
Canines in this dog breed can reach speeds of 40 to 45 miles per hour, making them the Ferraris of the dog world.
Not surprisingly, Greyhounds made a name for themselves as racing dogs and are still used in racing today.
They also participate in many other dog sports, including lure coursing, conformation, obedience, and agility.
Beyond their grace and speed, people love them for their sweet, mild nature.
Ian Mitchell is a photographer and digital artist who specialises in landscapes, seascapes and indoor architecture. Ian frequently visits the Snowdonia National Park, to capture endless, evocative, and powerful images. Ian has taken photographs for most of his life but only recently become passionate about sharing and selling his work that brings pleasure to himself and others. His main aim in his work is to try and take you to that special place, and try and share with you the beauty and atmospheric feel he enjoyed, whilst capturing the image.
